Top businessman fired in disgrace after ‘urinating on passenger’ on plane

A busting businessman has been given the boot by his employer after he allegedly did a wee on a woman as they flew business class.

Financial services outfit Wells Fargo parted ways with vice president of operations in India Shankar Mishra after he relieved himself on a 72-year-old woman in mid-air.

Formerly of the company’s Mumbai corporate office, he was travelling from New York to Deli and is reported to have been drunk.

During the flight, he is reported by the New York Post to have urinated on the woman next to him.

He and the unidentified woman are understood to have reached a financial settlement in the aftermath, a legal representative for Mr Mishra said.

It is understood he also tried to sort out cleaning for her soiled clothes and bag.

However, despite this, it is understood that she then filed a complaint with the airline and returned the money to Mr Mishra.

It is reported that she asked staff that Mishra be kept away from her and that he be arrested.

The two are understood to have then been put on crew seats nearby one another.

He is reported to have eventually sobered up and asked the woman not to report him and she agreed to not have him charged and arrested.

Mishra’s location is currently unknown and police in Dehli are now on the lookout for the disgraced businessman.

Speaking to the New York Post a spokesperson for Air India said: “Air India has taken a very serious view of the incident, where a passenger behaved in an unacceptable and undignified manner on the New York-Delhi flight that caused extreme distress to a fellow passenger.”

“A police complaint has already been lodged and Air India is committed to assist the law enforcement agencies as well as regulatory authorities”.
