PHOTOS: Summer storm pelts Estes Park – The Denver Post

Heavy rain and hail pelted downtown Estes Park on Wednesday. Some cars were even stuck by the water accumulating in the streets. A flash flood warning is in effect for the eastern part of Larimer County until 11:30 p.m.

There are unconfirmed reports of 12 to 16 inches of hail downtown near the 400 block of East Elkhorn Avenue.

A flash flood watch is in effect from Thursday morning through Thursday evening due to possible flooding caused by extensive rainfall in the East Troublesome, Cameron Peak, Williams Fork and Calwood burn scars.
