Mystery after two men found dead at Walker home as cops probe 'unexplained' deaths | The Sun

TWO men have been found dead at a home with cops launching a probe into the "unexplained" deaths.

Police rushed to the scene in Walker, Newcastle, and discovered a 59-year-old man and a 60-year-old man dead at the property on Friday afternoon.


A check was made on the pair after it was reported they had not been seen for some time.

Cops confirmed the two men had "failed to attend a number of appointments".

A Northumbria Police spokeswoman said the deaths were being treated as "unexplained".

Forensic officers were spotted at the scene on Welbeck Road scouring the area for evidence.

She said: "At 2pm on Friday, officers received a report of concern for the welfare of two men who had failed to attend appointments and had not been seen for a period of time.

“Police subsequently attended an address on Welbeck Road in Walker. Sadly the men, aged 59 and 60, were found to be deceased.

“Their deaths are being treated as unexplained at this time and enquiries are ongoing.

“Their next of kin have been notified and our thoughts are with them at this time.”
