Prince Harry had ‘heart to heart’ with King Charles before coronation decision

Prince Harry is said to have spoken to his father ahead of the coronation service, with he and King Charles having a "heart to heart".

Their close chat comes before the Duke of Sussex agreed to attend the coronation on May 6, and the King of England appears to have played a part in the decision.

Both sides are said to have a "willingness and wanting to mend" according to insiders who noted both the Spare autobiography and allegations made by the Duke during his time away from the Royal Family.

It has since been reported that the Duke of Sussex spoke with the King of England.

The Sun reports that the conversation between the pair took place and that Harry had wanted to show "support for his father" at the upcoming event.

His attendance at the big day was confirmed by Buckingham Palace who released a statement regarding Prince Harry's attendance, and Meghan Markle's absence.

The Duke appears to have agreed to an appearance at the coronation to mark the "importance and significance" of the event to the country, a decision which has reportedly left the King "happy" and "understanding" at Meghan staying behind to look after the children.

His appearance however does not mean everything is rosy with brother Prince William, with the two still not on speaking terms according to an insider.

But there could be another reason for Harry attending the coronation services, as The Daily Star reported the Sussex duo may be experiencing a series of "fights" with one another.

Royal expert Kinsey Schofield alleged the two had been in a "state of fights" and that the coronation could provide ample time apart for the duo.

Rumours over the fights came as the pair split themselves for the coronation, with Harry set to attend his father's coronation on May 6.

Speaking to The Daily Star, expert Schofield said: "Rumours have been circulating in the states of fights between the Sussexes so some will argue that Meghan's absence gives those stories credibility."
