OnlyFans star ‘was tied up to shoot content when ex killed and dismembered her’

An OnlyFans star was killed by her ex while the pair filmed adult content, a court heard.

Carol Maltesi, 26, had been recording footage on January 11 this year which involved having her hands tied behind her back, a piece of tape over her mouth and a bag over her head while her killer, ex-lover Davide Fontana, filmed the scene on his phone.

The scene being filmed involved Fontana, 43, hitting Ms Maltesi with a hammer, Il Giorno reported.

He told a courtroom: "The scene in the video involved giving her a few taps on her thighs and then on her stomach.

"Then I started hitting her on the head.

"I never saw her face again because it was covered and the hood wasn't [taken] off. Then I raised the hood and realised I had killed her."

Fontana said he then slit her throat with a Japanese knife.

"I wanted to take her pain away," he said. "Then I paced the room, terrified.

"So I texted Salvatore, her boyfriend, texting over on Carol's cell phone."

A few days later, Fontana said he started dismembering Ms Maltesi's body.

The Italian mum-of-one's remains were dumped in Borno near Brescia, Italy where they began to thaw under the sun, months after she was last seen alive close to her Rescaldina home near Milan.

"I used a hacksaw for metals, while the hammer and the knife I threw in a public trash can," he told the courtroom.

"It took me three days [to dismember the body].

"I would die myself to bring Carol back to life. I didn't premeditate anything. I will fight until the end of my days to make amends, to rehabilitate myself as a human being".

At a previous hearing Fontana admitted he had created a fake OnlyFans profile, paying a premium to get Ms Maltesi to create specific content for him, many of which involved violent scenes.

During this most recent hearing, investigators told judges that Ms Maltesi and Fontana, who had previously been romantically involved, were creating content requested by Fontana through his fake profile, Fanpage.it reported.

Despite his claim that the murder was not premeditated, prosecutors believe his video request – to have her tied up and gagged with a bag over her head – were planned to make it easier for Fontana to kill her.

He then used her phone to contact loved ones, including her current boyfriend, to make it seem like she was still alive.

A previous report said that Ms Maltesi had texted friends prior to her death saying there was a "good understanding" between her and Fontana, but "no love".

"Between us there is a good mental understanding," she reportedly said to a pal.

Meanwhile the Public Prosecutor's Office previously found Fontana had been using Ms Maltesi's credit card to make purchases in the months following her death in order to make it appear she was still alive, buying items such as women's shoes.

The trial continues.
