A mum binge-watched Shameless on Netflix with her boyfriend while her three-year-old girl died in a hot car, a court heard.
Laura Black, 37, and Aaron Hill, 29, allegedly left Rylee Rose Black inside a locked motor for five hours in Australia after she fell asleep in her booster seat.
The couple then sat in front of the TV watching the hit series while the toddler was stuck in the Toyota Prado, it is claimed.
Prosecutors claim the couple did not discuss where she was as they sat inside their home in Burdell, a suburb in the city of Townsville.
She spent five hours on the back seat inside the hot four-wheel drive before they found her “slumped over” last Friday, MailOnline reports.
The girl was taken to Townsville University Hospital where she was pronounced dead, the hearing was told.
Black and Hill have been charged with manslaughter over the death.
They appeared in Townsville Magistrates’ Court on Monday and were granted bail.
The couple arrived at the property at 9.50am after doing the school run for Black’s three other daughters, according to reports.

Police prosecutor Tasman Murphy claimed they had got into a row on the way back.
He told the hearing the little girl fell asleep on the back seat, where she stayed until they returned to the Toyota at 2.45pm to pick up the kids from school.
The prosecutor alleged they had been inside the house watching Shameless and did not discuss where she was all day.
After getting back in the car, he said they turned around and saw the girl’s head slumped over.
They took her out of her booster seat to try carrying out CPR before taking her to hospital, he added.
A lawyer for Hill argued he should be granted bail as it was an unintentional act, according to reports.
A fundraising page for the girl’s dad and her sisters has raised thousands of pounds on GoFundMe.
