Black-clad gunman opens fire in school killing at least 11 & injuring 20 as terrified kids jump from windows in Russia | The Sun
AT LEAST 11 people have died including five children and about 20 have been injured after a man in a black t-shirt and balaclava opened fire on students at a school in Russia.
The gunman was armed with two flare guns which had been converted to fire live ammunition, according to Russian media.
A huge emergency presence has been scrambled to School Number 88 in Izhevsk in the western Russian region of Udmurt.
Students are reportedly among the victims of the shooting, including three children aged 10, 11, and 15.
At least two teachers and two security guards were also killed.
One terrified girl posted on social media from inside a classroom as the gunman continued to storm through the school.

"We are in biology class," she wrote. "Moved from class to lab. The whole class is sitting and crying.
"They don't tell us anything. Very scary."
One video shows children huddled in a classroom aged around nine or ten crouched on the floor.
Some students reportedly escaped by jumping out of upstairs windows, injuring themselves in the process.

The gunman is believed to have committed suicide following the deadly rampage.
"Currently, the police found the body of the man who opened fire," regional authorities said. "According to reports, he committed suicide."
So far, no official motive has been given for the shooting.
A picture has since been shared of the shooter wearing a "black t-shirt with Nazi symbols" and black balaclava lying dead in a classroom.
Russian media has shared images of the suspected gunman wearing a t-shirt celebrating a Russian neo-Nazi activist, while swastika tattoos are visible on his arms.
A criminal investigation has been launched into the shooting.
The school is near the centre of Izhevsk, around 600 miles east of Moscow.
