Prince Andrew could be about to appear on our screens again with another tell-all TV interview, according to sources.

The disgraced Duke of York famously appeared in an infamous and disastrous Newsnight interview with Emily Maitlis in 2019.

Andrew is now reportedly considering a second interview as part of his bid to get back into the royal fold.

The Mirror reports that he has told pals that he has a chance of getting back on the inside, with an interview believed to be one way to do it.

Andrew strongly denied sex abuse allegations made by Virginia Giuffre, which saw him striped of royal honours by the late Queen Elizabeth.

A source told the Mirror that Andrew is increasingly fond of the idea of telling his side of the story about how the last two years have been for him.

The source, understood to be close to the duke, said: “Nothing is off the table.

“Andrew has been made to give up his job and now potentially his home.

“He feels there is little else to lose when he has already paid an awfully high price.”

The source says that the duke has been watching the way his nephew, Prince Harry, has engaged with US-based media and as such would prefer to do the interview on the other side of the pond.

The publication reports that Andrew has been approached by at least two major broadcasters from the US and he is understood to have been offered an interview in the UK.

The Prince has not been to the US since the FBI said it wanted to speak to him as part of the investigation into the associates of Jeffrey Epstein.

He has since been made to stand down from all royal duties.

The experiences of the duke since the Newsnight interview have since been drip fed by his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson who he still lives with at his Royal Lodge mansion, who has described him as “poor Prince Andrew”.
