17 Britons including children dead or missing in Israel after Hamas attacks
Children are among the 17 British nationals feared dead or missing after the Hamas attack on Israel.
The terrorist group stormed the country on Saturday, October 7, launching thousands of rocket missiles onto civilians.
The previous estimate for the number of dead or missing was put at “more than 10”.
It comes as the death toll in Israel has reached 1,200, with more than 900 people killed by Israeli air strikes on Gaza.
The deaths of Nathanel Young and Bernard Cowan have been confirmed.
Hamas terrorists launched a surprise attack on Israel on Saturday, October 7 breaking through the Gaza border fence and overpowering the entire Israeli military garrisons.
Heavily-armed Palestinian fighters stormed the bases of the Israeli army killing scores of soldiers and taking others captive.
Next Hamas turned to the communities near the border striking without warning and shooting people on sight in the streets and in homes.
By Tuesday, Israel said it had recaptured the border crossing with Gaza.
