16 криптобирж Японии создают саморегулируемую организацию

Previously announced association of Associations kriptornka will not be.

CCN informs that 16 Japanese crypto-exchangers are planning to start forming a self-regulating association already next week.

The purpose of the new organization is to protect investors more effectively. The problem became especially urgent after the breaking of the Coincheck crypto-exchange in Tokyo, with which about 530 million dollars was stolen in the NEM tokens.

One of these days was announced the project of the association of the Japan Association of Crypto-Currency Trade and the Japan Block Association, but this project was rejected, the newspaper asserts.

The initiators of the new self-regulatory association promised to register it with the Japan Association of Financial Services (FSA), in accordance with the requirements of the law.

Coincheck was attacked on 26 January. At the moment, theft remains the largest in the history of hacking crypto-birz. The police are investigating several countries in relation to the crime.

As it was found out during the investigation, partially stolen NEM have already been converted into other crypto-currencies.
