Up to 30 migrants feared dead after their small boat sank in Canary Islands
Up to 30 migrants are feared dead following a catastrophic capsizing in the Atlantic Ocean, charities have said.
Walking Borders and Alarm Phone, charitable organisations that monitor migrant boats, have said a vessel carrying migrants through the waters around the Canary Islands had 60 people onboard.
While dozens have been rescued, many others remain missing, with dozens feared to have drowned as they travelled 100 miles to the southwest of Gran Canaria.
