Sleaze report into 'groper' MP Chris Pincher expected within days and could trigger another Tory byelection | The Sun
RISHI Sunak is braced for ANOTHER byelection as the Chris Pincher sleaze report is expected to be published within days.
It means the embattled PM could lose five Tory MPs nightmare votes over the coming months.
Disgraced MP Pincher allegedly drunkenly groped two men at a private Tory club last year in June last year.
He quit as chief whip and was suspended by the Tories after The Sun revealed the bombshell claims.
But has carried on as the MP for Tamworth in Staffordshire for over a year.
Senior government insiders say they expect a damning report by the parliamentary commissioner for standards to be published within days.
It has been investigating Pincher for "causing significant damage to the reputation" of Parliament and MPs.
It is expected to rule against him – paving the way for a suspension from parliament that would be over ten days. This would trigger a recall petition and likely byelection.
A source said: “It is imminent and we are expecting him to get a suspension of over 10 days, which means another byelection.
“It is more bad news.”
