Singer who let cat suck her nipples sees Spotify streaming numbers skyrocket

    A singer who was filmed letting a cat suck her nipples has hit a new Spotify milestone off the back of the controversial video.

    Rather than being a career-curtailing clip, MC Pipokinha's feline interaction appears to have had the opposite effect.

    The 21-year-old from Brazil also sparked outcry when she allowed a fan completely stark naked to come on stage and perform oral sex on her on stage.

    In the clip the two women appear kissing and caressing one another before MC Pipokinha lies on her back on the stage.

    The other woman, who appears completely nude, then lifts up the singer's dress and appears to put in a bit of a shift.

    Since the on-stage stunt widely reported earlier this week, Pipokinha has taken a major boost to streams of her music on Spotify.

    According to Alfineteiteen, the artist has seen some of the biggest growth on the audio streaming giant this month with a new high of 5,214,368 listeners.

    Unsurprisingly there was plenty in the way of reaction to the social media new page's post including fierce debate penned in Portuguese.

    On one side of the fence are fans hailing her as "The best queen of Brazil" and on the other are comments such as "I don't know what people see in her, pure pornography, this is not music and sound pollution."

    Backlash appears to be doing Pipokinha no harm, though, with a huge Instagram following of 3.2million who she's been promoting her latest track Sensação featuring Ari Falcão and DJ Glenner to.

    Together with sharing an intimate moment with a cat, receiving oral sex during a gig and role playing as a child with a dummy in her mouth, Pipokinha clearly has a knack for thinking up disturbing new ways to create headlines.
