Up to 12 people have been shot after a mass shooting at a gay nightclub in Colorado, reports say.
Videos show cops racing to the scene at Club Q in Colorado Springs with multiple ambulances on site to take victims to hospital.
Colorado Springs Police Department is yet to officially confirm the emerging reports, but posted on Twitter that they were responding to a shooting on N Academy, near the location.
It is currently unclear whether there are multiple suspects but cops are expected to release a statement soon.
The nightclub advertises itself as an "adult-orientated gay and lesbian" venue that hosts theme nights including "karaoke and drag shows".
