Is this the UK's WORST town? Area slammed as being a 'soulless bumhole full of concrete and roundabouts' | The Sun
A UK town has been blasted for being a "soulless bum home of a place full of concrete and roundabouts".
Stand-up comedian Mike Bubbins, 50, has been touring the country with his show Throwback since February.
Many of his venues have been completely sold out, with Bubbins praising "so many nice gigs" with "lovely audiences and great crew".
But one town stood out, and he took to social media to recite his "love letter" to Swindon in Wiltshire.
He said: "What an absolute bum hole of a place. I talk about it with other comics, I don’t know anyone who enjoys playing there. Soulless, lifeless commuter."
Just 80 people are due to watch his performance at the Swindon Arts Centre from 8pm tonight.

He added: "The only sort of blot on the whole thing really is Swindon tomorrow."
Bubbins said the town's Wikipedia entry "tells you all you need to know" because it brags about being equally between Reading and Bristol.
He added: "If you're one of the 220 not there just enjoy the fact that you’re equidistant between Reading and Bristol and that you’re a medieval village in the Domesday Book that’s now a new town.
