Full list of schools hit by RAAC concrete crisis revealed – is your child affected? | The Sun
A FULL list of all the schools riddled with dodgy concrete has finally been published.
It shows thousands of kids are suffering either a delay to the start of term – or even forced to endure lockdown-style remote learning.
Most schools where RAAC has been discovered have managed to keepface-to-face teaching in place.
But of the total 147 schools on the list, 19 have had a delayed start of term, a further 20 have some form of home-learning, and another four are teaching kids fully remotely.
Originally 156 schools were told to make arrangements for RAAC, but since then nine have been found to not have the flimsy concrete.
Education Secretary Gillian Keegan had been under pressure to release the full list so the scale of the problem was laid bare.
Today she said: "I know this is the last way parents, teachers and children affected by this wanted to begin the new term, but it will always be my priority to ensure the safety of pupils and staff.
“Thanks to the hard work of schools, colleges, councils, diocese and academy trusts, the majority of settings where RAAC has been confirmed have opened to all pupils for the start of term.

The list was finally released minutes before Rishi Sunak was due to face a grilling on the crisis in his weekly PMQs clash with Sir Keir Starmer.
The PM said today: "We make no apology for taking decisive action. The vast, vast majority are not affected.

"We will do everything we can to support teachers, parents and get children back to normal schooling as quickly as possible."
It came after school bosses who have still not completed reports into the possible presence of dodgy concrete were last night told to “get off your backsides” and do it.
Embattled Ms Gillian Keegan issued the order to local authorities and trusts yet to reveal the state of their buildings as it emerged that up to 1,100 schools may be affected.
Fears were growing last night that tens of thousands more pupils face returning to classrooms with Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (Raac) not yet identified.
One in 20 school bodies, such as councils and trusts, have failed to tell ministers if they have any.
The laggards have been given until Friday to return surveys to the Department for Education — 18 months after they received them.
It comes as The Sun can reveal how frantic teachers at blighted schools are begging parents to get in touch if they have a contact in any portable toilet or temporary classroom firms so they can fully open.
