Evri courier caught hurling parcel 20ft from road to customer's door
Evri courier is caught on camera hurling parcel 20ft from road to customer’s front door TWICE In less than two hours
- Evri courier hurled packages 20ft from road to customer’s front door in Leeds
- The delivery worker did not try to open the gate or knock on the woman’s door
- The courier then took a picture of the parcel and claimed it was in a ‘safe place’
- Ninety minutes later a second Evri-delivered parcel was thrown across her lawn
An Evri delivery driver was caught on camera slinging parcels into a customer’s yard instead of carefully delivering them at her door.
Ring camera footage shows the driver approach the Leeds residence and throw a package across the lawn about 20 feet. The courier did not open the gate or knock.
About 90 minutes later a second delivery arrived at the home and was also hurled across the yard by what appears to be the same courier.
The customer, a 41-year-old Leeds woman, says there needs to be a ‘serious investigation’ into the way Evri conducts business, especially during Christmas time when many deliveries include gifts.

‘Is discus an Olympic sport? Because these delivery drivers have the stance for it,’ the woman said.
‘There needs to be a serious investigation into the way they conduct business and what’s worse is there is absolutely no way to complain about this, you are blocked at every turn.
‘There is absolutely no reason for these people to not come onto my property.
‘And the front door of a street with busy footfall is not a ‘safe place.’
The first parcel was delivered last Wednesday at 3.08pm, the 41-year-old said. It was a Christmas present and contained clothing from Boohoo.
The woman’s Ring door cam clearly shows the parcel delivery worker hurling the pink package over the woman’s front gate. It hits a tree before skidding to a stop outside her front door.
No attempt is made to open the gate, which is unlocked, or knock on the door to hand the parcel to her.
The courier then takes a picture showing the parcel on location, and the woman was told it was in a ‘safe place’ as she was not home.

The second delivery arrived 94 minutes later at 4.42pm – and was also chucked across her lawn. It landed in the same spot.
Once again, the driver took a picture and claimed he was unable to deliver it – even though it was actually for the house next door.
The homeowner, who was out at the time of both deliveries, said: ‘I have three gifts last week that they say they delivered but were never received.
‘Both of these could have been stolen.
‘There is no real way to complain because they don’t respond to Facebook and have no Twitter account.’
Evri said: ‘We have spoken to the customers involved to apologise for these deliveries and offered a good will payment.
‘Our local team have spoken to the courier involved about our required delivery standards for all parcels to ensure this doesn’t happen again in the future.’
