Boring blokes killing off traditional UK stag dos – by bringing the bride along

Woke blokes are snubbing wild booze-ups and sleazy strip clubs for a quiet stag do with the bride.

The fun sponges are swapping raucous parties for strait-laced bonding sessions.

Most of the flakes check in with their other half every day and some even take the future missus along with them.

And the days of being tied to a lamp-post have long gone, with just 2% ending up as victims of a cruel prank.

Matt Mavir, of party experts Last Night of Freedom, said: “Stags would drink themselves into a stupor and the groom would spend the weekend living in fear.

“But that’s all changed – groups drink a lot less and increasingly the weekend is about bonding rather than humiliation.

“And with mobile phones, it has become almost impossible to get up to mischief behind the bride’s back.

“We’ve even had a couple of grooms asking to bring their fiancée along.

“A lot of modern stags and hen weekends are mixed gender – but inviting the bride-to-be seems like a step too far.”
