Paul Bristow sacked by Rishi Sunak after calling for ceasefire in Gaza

Paul Bristow has reportedly been sacked after he called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

Just hours ago, the former Parliamentary Private Secretary to Michelle Donelan said: “It is difficult to understand how this makes Israel more secure or indeed makes anything better.”

A spokesperson said: “Paul Bristow has been asked to leave his post in Government following comments that were not consistent with the principles of collective responsibility.”
