Spanning over two decades, End of the Weak (EOW / EODub) serves as a rite of passage for anyone aspiring to be recognised as a true emcee.
Some of the world’s most exceptional lyricists have joined this global hip-hop family, including the likes of Immortal Technique, Homeboy Sandman, KRS One, Gorilla Nems (USA), Kate Tempest, Lowkey, Akala and Estelle (England).
Established in 2000 in the heart of New York City and expanding to England in 2006, End of the Weak has evolved into an international phenomenon, with chapters spanning more than 20 countries across five continents.
Testament to hip-hop’s core values and skills, it comprises five exhilarating rounds designed to test the talents of every aspiring emcee including:
On the night, EOW World Champion Rob Bradley (formerly Jack Flash), three times EOW England champion Gee Bag and EOW champions Dekay and Menace Mendoza will compete to represent England in the EOW world final 2023 in New York.
During a night honouring the year-long celebration of hip-hop turning 50, the MC Challenge will be judged by homegrown hip hop royalty Jonzi D, Sarah Love and MysDiggi, who will also perform live alongside heavyweights Illaman and Dubbledge (of Problem Child), SANITY, Mas Law and Apex Zero, with legendary DJs Jazz T and Snuff holding down the decks.
