Markets Wait For The U.S. CPI
Anxiety ahead of the CPI data release from the U.S on Tuesday and the Fed’s interest rate review on Wednesday lingered across markets.
The ZEW Indicator of Economic Sentiment for the Euro Area improved to -23.6 in December, from -38.7 in the prior month. Markets were expecting a reading of -25.7
Asian stocks mostly finished trading with gains. European benchmarks are also trading higher. Wall Street Futures too hint at mild gains on opening.
Dollar Index edged lower. Bond yields moved mixed. Crude oil prices gained amidst closure of a pipeline in the U.S. Gold edged higher. Cryptocurrencies mostly gained.
