Two teenage girls and a man in his 20s have died after a car they were driving in crashed into a tree.

They were among five people in a yellow Skoda Fabia which crashed on Bromley Lane in Kingswinford, the West Midlands, at around 8.50pm yesterday, October 13.

Dozens of emergency service vehicles were dispatched to the scene last night.

Another teenage boy and a teenage girl are in a critical condition in hospital.

The three victims were pronounced dead at the crash site, and their families have been informed.

Police saw the car before the crash but there was no chase or contact with the occupants.

One woman who lives near the scene told Birmingham Live: “I live in Rangeways Road so we saw the activity at that end.

“The police were still here at 2am and the road was still blocked off.

“We didn’t hear anything, only the sirens.”

Flowers have already been left at the scene of the tragedy.

Sgt Dean Caswell, from West Midlands Police, said: "This is a tragic time for the families of those involved, and we have specially trained officers who will be supporting them through the difficult time ahead.

"The investigation is at a really early stage, and we're trying to establish exactly what happened and why.

"I'd urge anyone who saw the Skoda driving in the area last night, or who may have captured anything on dash-cam footage, to get in touch with us as soon as possible."
