Luxury resort for sale for £27m with pool, spa and incredible views – but you’ll have to put up with wild neighbours

A LUXURY £27million resort with stunning views has gone on the market – but you'll have some pretty wild neighbours.

The villa in Karoo, South Africa, boasts an incredible 28 bedrooms and is available for a whopping $36million (£27.3m).

As one of the priciest properties in the country, it also comes with 28 bathrooms, 17 receptions rooms and two kitchens.

The multi-million pound resort comes with a catch though as your neighbours won't exactly be human.

Instead, you will have wild lions, rhinos and elephants for company to name a few because the resort is an incredible safari park.

The reserve is home to what are known as the Big Five game animals: the lion, leopard, black rhinoceros, African bush elephant, and the African buffalo.

Beautiful backdrops with vast horizons, vistas and plains and deep unending skies await any potential buyer.

Located 3,215ft above sea-level, you could wake up in the middle of the clouds with the mountain-high reserve Sky Villa.

Prospective owners can enjoy a romantic dinner on the sunset deck, or a refreshing dip in the private pool.

For those with a passion for conservation, the beautiful home also doubles up as a place where animals are protected or even given a new home since retiring from zoos.

There is also unlimited potential to expand the Reserve, to the point of adjoining the Addo Elephant Park, with the opportunity to create the largest private reserve in South Africa.

Kim Cooper of Lew Geffen Sotheby’s International Realty said: "Sky lodge is surely one of the most stunning lodges on the continent.

"What makes her so [expensive]—the elusiveness of her location, the exclusiveness of her accommodation, coupled with the unique character of the Karoo.
