Sunny skies and warm weather, with high temperatures in the upper 80s, make up the Denver-weather forecast through the weekend.
The dry, warm weather, with low humidity and winds up to 20 mph, will raise fire concerns in some areas of northern Colorado, including northwest Larimer County, according to the National Weather Service.
In Denver, Saturday’s high temperature will top out around 86 degrees with light and variable winds, according to the weather service. The overnight low will be about 52 degrees.
Sunday’s and Monday’s weather in the city will be more of the same, with a high temperature of 88 and 87 respectively. Skies will be sunny and winds should be calm. The overnight lows will be in the lower 50s, the weather service said.
Weather-related concerns about wildfire will linger for parts of northern Colorado through the weekend and into Monday. A couple of approaching weather systems, however, will bring a cool down with a chance for showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday and Wednesday.
