Crypto-currency Petro attracted 3 million dollars of investments from 127 countries
The Venezuelan government made new claims regarding the crypto currency of Petro. A week after the start of sales, President Nicholas Maduro said that Petro collected 3 billion from more than 170 thousand certified purchases from investors in 127 countries.
Let us recall that earlier the Venezuelan government announced the official launching preset crypto-currencies PTR in the amount of 82,4 million tokens.
This week, the Venezuelan president announced that a week after the launch of the national crypto currency, which is tied to the oil reserves of the country, was committed "A total of 171 015 certified purchases of a digital asset."

According to Maduro, most orders were in dollars, and after – Bitcoin and Ethereum.
According to information posted on the website of the country's vice-president, "40,8% of tokens sold were bought for US dollars, 6,5% for euro, 18,4% for Ethereum, about 34% for Bitcoin and the smallest part for 0,2% in yuan."
Maduro also said:
"About 87 thousand users were interested in the purchase of Petro. Of these, 3523 are companies and 83 thousands are people. Participation in the purchase of tokens took 127 countries. "
The local newspaper published a number of countries that contributed to the purchase of Petro. Among them: "Afghanistan, Albania, Germany, Andorra, Angola, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belgium, Belarus, Brazil, Spain, USA, Estonia, Philippines, Finland, France, etc.", The newspaper reports.
