World Market Trends At 6 A.M. ET

Here is a snapshot of the global markets across stocks, currencies, commodities, bonds and cryptocurrencies.

Asian stocks mostly traded lower tracking overnight losses in the American bourses and Covid-19 resurgence. European stocks were indecisive amidst lingering concerns on inflation, growth and coronavirus situation. American stock futures point to recouping of Wednesday’s losses. Dollar Index cooled off. Bond yields eased further. Crude prices dropped further as fear mounted of U.S. and China dipping into strategic reserves. Gold was down but a weakening dollar and easing bond yields capped losses. Cryptocurrency market cap edged up. Bitcoin and Ethereum too have moved up from the previous day’s levels.
